Helping individuals with special needs learn how to understand, groom, ride, communicate and work with horses is the focus of the Therapeutic Horsemanship lesson program. Each lesson is conducted by a NARHA Registered Therapeutic Riding Instructor. We work with children, teens and adults with mental, emotional, and behavioral problems and with complex medical issues and disabilities.  Lessons may be mounted (riding) or unmounted, depending on the client's goals. Volunteers are available to help with sidewalking and leading the horse, when that would be helpful to the client. Contact DreamPower for more information.
