In May, DreamPower received a grant of $12,000 from the Intero Foundation.

Ten thousand dollars or this wonderful grant is designated for scholarships for low-income and at-risk children and youth. Thanks to this donation, starting May 22, 2008, DreamPower and Community Solutions partnered together to provide equine facilitated psychotherapy to children and youth in need. Community Solutions is a comprehensive human services agency serving south Santa Clara County and the surrounding area. Clients for these groups are referred by the staff of Community Solutions, who also participate in the groups.

The remaining $2000 of this grant is targeted at purchasing two new treeless saddles.   The new saddles will allow more riders to safely and comfortably ride our horses.
