Initiating the Horse Wellness Fund

At this dinner the DreamPower community enjoyed a Mexican buffet dinner and celebrated the healing power of the horse-human bond.
- Honor the DreamPower horses
- Tell stories about favorite DreamPower horses
- Discuss ways to support the DreamPower horses in their work
- Initiate the DreamPower Horse Wellness Fund
- Celebrate Starbright's life with a special commemorative book
There were no admission tickets to purchase - everyone who attended was encouraged to contribute to the best of their ability. In addition to the sharing of ideas, stories and good spirits, over $3,000 was raised. All money raised at this event will be set aside in a fund to provide for the veterinary care of the DreamPower horses.
In addition, a truckload of hay was donated, and the South Valley Country Dancers provided the funding for the printing of the Starbright book.
Also, as a result of this event, one of the DreamPower horses will be receiving a necessary operation at no cost to DreamPower, thanks to the generosity of a local veterinary team.
