DreamPower Horsemanship, founded in 2002, offers a range of therapeutic horsemanship programs and services. DreamPower programs include therapeutic horsemanship lessons, equine facilitated psychotherapy, equine facilitated learning, Equine Journey Wilderness Program, Confident Rider Clinics, parenting skills groups, training for psychotherapists and equine professionals, and more.

Our Therapeutic Riding Instructors are NARHA (North American Riding for the Handicapped Association) certified. Our psychotherapists and Occupational Therapist are licensed by the state of California. All of our staff are affiliated with EFMHA, the Equine Facilitated Mental Health Association. 

 

In addition to our dedicated staff, over 100 community volunteers help support our programs each year. Serving the entire San Francisco Bay Area, our facility is located at California Stables in Gilroy, California, 20 minutes south of San Jose.
